When I see the television advertisements, I feel everybody is exhibiting a fake show of themselves and their products as well. No one knows what is actually right and everyone is involved in promoting a product. They expect people to buy whatever they show. I suddenly remembered this music video ‘Everybody’s fool’ by Evanescence when I happened to see a recent ad. The smile was so fake in that ad. They do not analyze the true facts behind each product yet they think of some fairy tale kind of advertisement to make people engrossed in it and finally brain washing them to try their product. You tend to like a song when you happen to hear it again and again even if you were not having a liking towards it at the beginning. Same way they show these ads a billion times that you start admiring the beauty part of it and tend to forget he value part of it which is more essential to look for before buying it. Consumers can consume things not the whole market. But the ads force people to dream about a house full of utilities even if all of them is not necessary.

good one! isnt AD’s meant to mislead ?? at most, the consumer can avoid being misled!
I think most Ads are misleading.their job is to sell the product and not tell the truth, it is ours to try the product and find out.

not all things need an advt, people will buy the necessary groceries even if there is no advt.
but true, it is hard to change when we have moved so long from the turning point.
