Feed for Readers

Hi friends,

I guess most of you must be aware of this term called feeds. If not, I thought I can give it a go in my blog for better understanding for those who don’t know much about it. Feeds are things which help us to get the most recent updates from any website or blog which enables faster knowledge gain or I can say faster comments to your friends blogs which will make them even more happy. So cool nah!

Previously I was using newsgator. There are many other websites and softwares which help you read your feeds in one place. You will be able to get the updates from all your friends blogs in one place. Some which I find interesting are as follows,

• Feedreader – software
• Google reader – still in beta, but its the most convenient way for blogspot users.
• Newsgator
• Bloglines

Presently I am using google reader. And some tools which support feed reading are..

• Feedblitz – which sends updates to ur inbox
• Feedburner – which integrates your blog’s feed traffic.

Thats all I know, there are many people who are born genius in this field. This is enough I think from my side to you.

This is the icon which represents feed url. Feed url is the basic thing u need to use the above services. You should find the feed url of a particular blog/website and enter it in the add subscription field in the feedreader which you opt to use to subscribe for the updates from that blog/website.
